Mums like us share their stories.

I'm 40, got pregnant after many years of trying and failed fertility treatment. I have hydrocephalus and arthritis. Nearly eight months with the beautiful Sophie - worth the wait!

I’m an (almost )28 year old lass with Hemiplegic Cerebral Palsy, Scoliosis & Hydrocephalus. I have 2 wonderful boys and and an amazing husband, David. I work part time in retail as a Team Leader and for a bit of a personal challenge: this year I’m aiming to complete The London Marathon... crazy, yup that’s me!!

I was diagnosed with MS in 2011. I became a mum in 2013 and was lucky enough to have my second daughter in 2016. Disability and motherhood have therefore, come hand in hand for me. I have learned how to live as a disabled person at the same time as I have learned how to parent. I have not fully learned how to do either but am finding it a great comfort to know others are experiencing similar things.
